Robyn joined the Hammers in 1986 from then local rivals Headley, good solid scorer throughout his racing career, still does the occasional appearance. Robyn has been treasurer since 1988. He took over the Team Manager role in 2004 and has steered the club to 3 Premier League titles, three Indoor team titles and of course the prestigious British Team Title in 2007. Rob has more than doubled the number of Junior riders in 2009, which is down to his determination to bring new riders to the sport.

For details of all of Steve's other acheivements (and there are many!!) please see 'The Team' page. When we ask our junior riders who their favourite Cycle Speedway rider is, they all say Steve Harris. He always encourages the younger riders at training session and is an asset to the club.

Ray Martin - Track & Site Maintenance
Ray is our man who is always at the track first preparing it for training sessions and match days. He is responsible for the upkeep of the track and facilities and has a band of merry men that support him in this role (made up mainly of parents of our younger riders). Occasionally, Ray can also be seen having a ride around the track with some of our more senior parent supporters - a site not to be missed!
Matt Coulter - Club Committee Member
Matt has been a rider at the club for just
over 4 years now and is now taking on the role as a Horspath Committee
Member (aswell as running the website).

Martin Green - Welfare Officer
Martin became involved with Horspath Club when his son Ben started riding in 2007. He was impressed with the sport and community spirit of the club. Initially he helped at training sessions, with site maintenance and at the end of 2008 Martin completed the Welfare Officers course with Andy Wyatt. Martin has an Engineering and IT background. He is also a huge fan of Geocaching (a word of warning - do not ask him what geocaching is if you need to get away in a hurry!).
Andy Wyatt - Support Welfare Officer
Andy became a Support Welfare Officer towards the end of 2008. He has also been a key member of the maintenance team that actively support the club. Andy can also be seen at matches as gate/flag man. Andy became involved in the club through his son Joe Wyatt who is one of our eldest Junior riders. By trade Andy is a Mechanic.
