| Meet the Senior Riders  Senior Rider - Steve Harris (Club Chairperson)
Steve is the club’s most distinguished rider, joined from Swindon in 2002, former World Champion winning in Rawicz 1999. 6 time British Indoor Champion, Holds the record for British Final appearances to date, Numerous World and European Final appearances. Twice winning England Captain in World Team Cup both in Australia, Current Indoor and outdoor British Veteran Champion. Britain’s top scorer in last years European Final in Poland. Captained Hammers to four Premier League titles, one British Team title, three Indoor Team titles and the British Open team title. Coaching Level 2 course almost completed. GB Team Manager 2005 Australia. Selected for GB Aussie tour Feb 2009. First Aider, now living in Abingdon Senior Rider - Mark Boaler (Club Captain)
Mark is the current British Indoor Champion, joined Hammers 1998. Three British Finals, one European Final, represented England in World Team Cup Final 2007, Euro Team Final 2006, World Pairs Final 2007. Member England Junior World Team Champions in Australia 2001, and runners up in Poland 2003. Euro Junior Team winner 2002. World Junior Finalist 2001/2003 European Junior Finalist 2002, GB Junior Lions 2001. Member of U19, U16 and Junior League British team wins. 4 Premier League Championships, 3 Indoor team titles, British Team Title and 2 Junior Indoor team titles.Son of former Hammers Top rider Ray (Tom). Resides in Blackbird Leys.
 Senior Rider - Mike Morgans
Mike joined Hammers in 2003 after successful junior career at native Wednesfield, double British U16 Champion, U13 British Champion, double British U19 indoor champion. Member England Junior World Team Champions in Australia 2001, and runners up in Poland 2003. World Junior Finalist 1999, 2001 ( runner up) 2003. World Finalist 2003. European Junior Finalist 2000 / 2002. Member of four Premier League title winners (one with Aces). Two British Team titles (one with Aces). 3 times Indoor team titles. GB Senior Lions 2005, Junior Lions 2001. Resides in Wednesfield
Senior Rider - Rachel Edge
I have been riding since the age of 8, but have been in the sport all my life due to my Dad (Richard Edge). I like it when I beat the boys and knock them off. My target for this year is to gain my British Womens title back! In my 9 years of racing my achievements are: British Womens Individual Champion 2007, 2nd in the British Under 16/Open Womens Individual 2006, SWJGP Champion 2002, 2003, 2005 and runner up in 2001, 2004, 2006 and third in 2007. Mike joins the club on a second licence from Bristol Club, Filton. Mike is riding with the Premier League Sqaud and will continue to race in the SW League for parent club, Filton. Welcome to Horspath Mike! Junior Rider - Wayne Clarke
Wayne is 16. He began riding for the Horspath Hammers half way through the 2008 season. Wayne managed to come 10th in the British Indoor Finals, even though it was his first time indoors. He enjoys playing football and supports Chelsea. Wayne is very competitive, which will come in handy when he is racing. We look forward to a good performance from Wayne in 2009.
